#2. How did you start book blogging? What got you interested in book blogging? Particular blogs that inspired you? If you do not have a book blog, would you like to start one?

I do not have a book blog per se, however all of my social networking has taken a bookish turn lately. I believe I’ve been a reader since birth and it always makes me a bit giddy when I can pass my love of reading on to another. I read for pleasure. I read to be informed. I read to be inspired. And lately I’ve been reading to connect with my 15 year old daughter. That is to say, I am a mom, well past the YA age bracket reading quite a bit of YA to inspire colorful dialogue with my daughter and other teens I know.

Some blogs that have been particularly inspiring to me include, treesofreverie, teachingliteracy and

books-and-cupcakes

.

I have been considering starting an additional Tumblr blog for all my bookish pursuits and possibly even getting into the book vlogging community on YouTube.

Happy Reading!
